Terrorism…..a syndrome of insecurity and arrogance

Part: 2

Once the hornet’s nest might have seemed an easy trap for radical minds in Syria and Iraq. But humanity has paid a heavy toll.

Are we ready for terrorists’ diaspora; to all corners of the world?

The insecure arrogant among the terrorists will prefer blowing themselves up, than to wean away from their wrongly propagated hypnotic mental feed.

Terror wave is not a new threat for people of Pakistan where public resorts and shrines have remained a soft targets. Shrines of Sufi Saints remained since eons a symbol of peaceful co-existence, an emblem of devotion and all embracing spiritual love.

Sehwan, shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar was one such target of terror attack. Devotees come to pay homage to the Sufi Saint. Terrorist’s idealogy is so insecure within that it is threatened by idea of love and peaceful co-existence as one aspect of Islam and also by the devotional swirling darvesh in trance.

Still there are varying voices

Their say sounds more sane at the outset…

Sane vocals kept raising their voices….

“Ummm… Humanity is chained to their age old norms

Saying no to progress

Of thought process

The place is not safe for gatherings…”

Whereas what the beat of drummers say….

Better cling to those who at least own them

Dhamaal of darvesh becomes more an escape from deplorable reality, where the beloved sites are not only bombed rather the burnt body parts of the deceased are thrown to garbage heaps.

All voices of arrogant sanity deserve fading into oblivion

When the poor is left insecure.

Matters that could have been handled with strong policing is left neglected. Whereas the arrogant terror mongers get more busy to molest the spirit of love because their rigid ideologies are threatened by certain swirling darvesh.

At least these shrines propagate an all-comprehensive love; a soothing true aspect of Islam.

  2. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is fantastic blog. A fantastic read. I’ll certainly be back.
