Time Warp

The field hums

With wishful notes

While picking petals

Endorsed in a moment

Fully felt

All that left

Lost itself

To nothingness.

Daisy petal game

Oracle like

Halted at once

Unwinding the tangled

Warp and weft

Of memory

Lost or spent

When in a backward glance

All that gleams by chance

A silhouette projected

Against the fleeing time

With last petal

Crushed sapless

There you stand

Your true self

Uncalled for

I love poetry prompt game and recently within 140 characters tried to capture an idea that later on I felt like articulating with a little more liberal images. Above lines are a kind of inspiration from my own attempt at micro-poetry, here, as given below. I mention it to compliment certain accounts that play muses with their prompts* and leave the rest for the mind.

Daisy oracle game

Halted at once

Unwinding the tangled

Warp n weft

Of memory

Spent n lost

There u stand
